Wow...quite a tasty retro TV schedule on both stations!* :)

*Except that they are showing Giant Gila Monster as the feature on Saturday night's "Stupid Movie" (I'd like to see them make a better b-film on a similar budget)! *grumble*

If it was me I would make a "Creature Feature" like Staturday night double feature with cheese scifi/horror films! I think by calling it "Stupid Movie" is just a bit to plain for my taste LOL.

Back in the '60s, we had Chiller Theater every Saturday. That was fun. :)

I threw a pitch to the people who own the local Access channel in the southern portion of the county that I live in on playing a schedule of public domain tv and movies and they liked the idea and we'll just go on from there.

Hope it works out for you! I did the same thing, about 25 or so years ago. Shot a "pilot" (on FILM) and everything. (It was to be a local show, with a group of people playing the wacky staff of the fictional TV station's horror movie show.) It went nowhere, but some dude stole my characters (their names, looks, everything) and turned it into a series of comic strips. Oh well! :P

I'd air shows like Man with a Camera, Robin Hood, Ramar of the Jungle, Dragnet, Sherlock Holmes, Annie Oakley Ozzie and Harriet, Jack Benny on a monday-friday basis and on the weekend afternoon's i'd dedicate to the westerns... like Kit Carson, Cowboy G-Men, Sky King, 26 Men, Judge Roy Bean, you know? Also sat and sunday morning's i'd dedicate to classic cartoons

Love all those old shows, but my #1 favorite '50s TV series is...Science Fiction Theatre, with Truman Bradley! :)
